Contact Us / Getting Help#
We at LINCC Frameworks pride ourselves on being a friendly bunch!
If you’re encountering issues, have some gnarly dataset, have ideas for making our products better, or pretty much anything else, reach out!
- Open an issue in our GitHub repo for LSDB
- A lot of our communication and discussion is on LSST Discovery Alliance Slack. This is also a great location to ask questions. If you don’t have an account for this Slack space, please get in touch to get an invite using information at this link.
- If you have questions about HATS data from the Rubin Observatory, the best place to ask at LSST community forum:
- Attend one of our events. All of our events are open to everyone; and they are also published on the Google Calendar embedded below.
- Drop-in / co-working events
“HATS/LSDB Drop-in” - Drop-in co-working/office hours. Great for getting help or just working alongside our software engineers using HATS/LSDB. Fridays 10:00-11:00 AM US Pacific Time.
“LINCC Frameworks Office Hours” - General office hours for LINCC-maintained software and general software advice. Thursdays 10:00-11:00 AM US Pacific Time.
- HATS/LSDB Working Groups and Tech Talks
“HATS/LSDB Working Group Demos” - Structured telecon with updates from developers and collaborators, and HATS standardization planning. Every 3rd Friday of the month, 10:00-11:00 AM US Pacific Time. Join the HATS/LSDB working group at hats-wg@googlegroups.com if you want email announcements and to participate in HATS standardization and LSDB development discussions.
“HATS/LSDB Europe Working group” - European time zone friendly discussion of HATS and LSDB. Every 4th Thursday of the month, 6:00-7:00 AM US Pacific Time.
LINCC Tech Talk - Tech Talk series to connect the Rubin software community.
However you reach out, we want to make sure that any discourse is open and inclusive, and we ask that everyone involved read and adhere to the LINCC Frameworks Code of Conduct
